A19th century antique Ale Tankard with tavern scene relief decoration. The frog inside is nicely modelled with good detail. The tankard is finished in a deep treacle glaze.
Capacity: 0.55 Litre
Diameter 11 cm and 10.5 cm high.
Nice condition for its age. There is surface crazing as expected and also a professional restoration to the foot rim as in the last photo. Three firing kiln marks to base.
Great collector's piece.
