A stylish Edwardian rectangular dressing table Trinket / Jewellery box, hinged tortoiseshell and pique cover (silver inlaid) decorated with a covered urn, swags, leafy scrolls and trellis, outlined with a border of bell husks raised on cabriole legs and pad feet.
Hallmarked H Matthews Birmingham 1907.
Overall 9.5 cm wide & 3.5 cm tall. The box measures 8.5 x 3.5 cm and 2.3 cm in height.
Nice clean original condition with a discreet crack to the tortoiseshell cover as in the photo
